Setting up a Hangup Module

You have already learned that you can hang up on your callers by adding a Hangup Action to an Actions List. You can also set up a Hangup Module. Each time you want to hang up on your callers within a Response, you would just add a Goto Action that points to the Hangup Module.

A Hangup Module is simply a Module with a Hangup as its Terminal Action, just like a Goto Module is a Module with a Goto as its Terminal Action, and a Transfer Module is a Module with a Transfer as its Terminal Action.

  1. Return to the Call Flow View
  2. Double click on the Hangup Module to open it. (Click on the picture, not on the words.)
  3. Expand the Main by clicking on the plus sign [+] to the left of the word "Main".
  4. Right click on the word "Main" and choose "Add Vox" from the popup menu.
  5. Double click on the word "None" in the Properties Table.
  6. Double click on "Library" in the yellow box that appears.
  7. Double click on "SELECT" in the Properties Table.
  8. The "Open Vox" dialog will open containing the Library Vox you created earlier.
  9. Click once on "Goodbye" to highlight it.
  10. Click "OK".
