Barge-ins, No Inputs and No Matches
The Platform is set up to automatically allow Barge-ins in all areas of the program. A Barge-in lets the caller
make a choice before a Vox has finished playing. This allows experienced callers to jump ahead and navigate
through the system more quickly. The disadvantage, however, is that the caller may make a noise that the system
doesnt recognize. They may cough, for example, or speak to someone else in the room. Since the system allowed
them to barge-in, they werent able to finish listening to the information they needed before they were ready to
make their choice.
There are two ways you can help alleviate this problem:
You can set up No Inputs and No Matches in each individual module exactly as you did in the Global Module.
The only difference is that the Global No Inputs and No Matches will work all throughout the call, and the
ones set up in a specific module will work only in that specific module.
