What is an Action?

When designing your Speech Application, you are going to want your system to speak to your callers, listen to what they say and then respond appropriately. You accomplish this through the use of Actions. An Action, like a verb, is simply something that your Application does. Actions are placed within a ModulesAction List.

To summarize, an Action is a specific command that you can add to a Module within its Action List.

There are five types of Actions:

1. Vox
2. Listen
3. Goto
4. Transfer
5. Hangup
