Event Log View
The Event Log View displays 3 log files for each service on each machine. To select a particular service, use the drop down menu from "Select Application Whose Logs to View".
The Logs available are:
- Application Log

Contains all logs related to the chosen machine and service.
- Startup Log

Contains Startup logs only. These logs usually exist in the Application log as well during startup, however, due to the number of logs written to the Application logs, the Application log file eventually gets cycled out. The Startup log is a good way to keep track of when the service was last restarted and the settings used when the service was started.
- Critical Errors

Contains critcal error logs. Errors in this log usually need to be fixed right away.
Sections in a Log Entry
There are 4 sections / columns in a log message:
- Time

Contains the time stamp on that machine when the log entry was created. Multi-line log entries show up with a time stamp for the first line only.
- Type

There are 7 types of messages that can be logged:
- Debug
- Info
- Warn
- Error
- Send
- Receive
- Critical
- ID

Contains an identifier that allows LumenVox Support to quickly identify the state of the process when the log entry was generated.
- Message

Contains the message that is logged in the entry.
Filtering Log Messages
There are icons for each Log Entry type above the status bar. Having these icons selected displays logs of that Log Entry type. Unselecting a Log Entry type filters out that Log Entry type. There may be multiple filters selected.
